| Pixie..AKA...Spiritual Secret |
Pixie :- A pure breed arabian filly was given to me as an unbroken yearling on the fourth
of November 1995 after the death of my best Friend Soveriegn West a racehorse that i had
saved from the knackery ...Pixie arrived on TAB transport that afternoon ...a tiny little
filly full of mischief and thats how she got the stable name "Pixie". She was just a tiny foal...maturing slowly she has grown into a beautiful 15.1hh mare ....during her life she has had a few accidents ....two years ago she nearly broke my heart as she had a bad fall on concrete and badly damaged her right front knee and i thought that she had broken her leg ....but thankfully she hadn't just badly cut it open and it took 18 months for it to heal ...which ment time off from riding and showing and paddock rest for 8 months . August 98 she had her first show since her accident which was a O.D.E (One Day Event) which included show jumping Cross country jumping and dressage ...to my amazement and joy we were placed 3rd in our class (E Grade) which we won a beautiful sash and gold nugget ....this filly has a natural passion for jumping and has a huge heart and will tackle anything as she has no fear and complete trust in her rider (me) As she is only rising six she has many years to learn and perfect her dressage and jumping skills. As her career progresses i will be upgrading her record so stay tuned and watch her progress :) |

Chevelle:- A pure breed standardbred gelding ...was given to me in late 92 ....when i
first seen this horse he was in appalling condition and had been sent to the knackery yard
...yes once again i saved an animals life ...he had a huge welt mark across his face where
i would say that he had been struck with a bridle or whip ...because of this it took me
three months to gain his trust around his head and ears ...now 7 years later i can do any
thing with him from cleaning his ears to rubbing his forehead as he now trusts me with his
life. He has a checkered history from winning two races out of 11 starts here in Kalgoorlie and Perth ..he was retired from racing in late 91.. and given to a young girl who was scared of him because of his size and she decided that he wasn't any good and decided to send him to the knackery which is when i came on the scene and saved him ...he has been a valued member of my stables for seven years now and i wouldn't part for him as he is an exellent horse for teaching and giving confidence to nervous riders ....he is one horse that you can trust with your life ...to give you an example i rode him with a severly broken arm (shattered forearm in 32 places from a kick from a race horse) and he looked after me he is now rising 15 and has many good years left in him as a hack and show horse .....he has done exceptionally well in the few shows that he has been in being placed always 1st or 2nd in his in-hand classes and has been placed well in the few ridden events he has been in |

This is just one of the walls of ribbions that my babies have won in the last few years
....as they keep doing well in shows i am slowly running out of room :) |
